Cut the Junk.

So as well you know or might know, The biggest loser is one of my favorite shows. it helps me and teachs me how to be in shape and healthy and skinnny!

Jillian michaels is back -- she's been off season for two seasons in a while, doing her own thing with family and such, now is back as ever!

The biggest loser season is a lot different then previous seasons, it's with 3 young teenagers who are obese, so TBL is fighting for tackling childhood obesity.

- People are surrounded by junk food, soda's, video games (not being active), and tv. The average kid spends more than 4 1/2 hrs a day watching television.

- Accodring to the center of the disease control division, what percentage of american children aged 2-19 years are obese?
a. approx. 5%               c. approx. 17%
b. approx. 12%            d. approx. 39%

-Approximently what percentage of overweight children aged 5-10 already have at least one risk factor for heart disease?

So to make a better eating lifestyle, throw your junk out.. throw the junk in the trunk. (that includes chips, sodas, cookies, fried food, and other items.) and fill in with whole grains, vegetables, fruit, lean meats, reduced fat/fat free dairy products.

I learned an awesome tip from Bob Harper:

During this espiode, The blue team lost the challenge (trivia), so they've been in the room all week fileld with junk food for 4 1/2 hours a day all this week, with no workouts. The room also has video games and computers. So Bob came and checked on them and had an excellent , brillant idea! So in the room, there was a deck of cards-- they did the last chance workout: for an example: spades squats- hearts, sit ups, diamonds-burpees...
So for example: 5 hearts of sit ups so you do 5 sit ups, until the last card.
Brilliant idea right?!
